"This is the early efforts of some talented people that have a bright future!"
Introduction
I was approached to review this film by C.J. Wallis, who is the man responsible for filling out most of the crew member positions on this film, such as writer, director, editor, cinematographer, producer, and so much more. Most notably, he’s just simply a pretty cool dude to shoot the shit with, which I discovered while shooting messages back and forth on Twitter.

Daily Dead Interviews Director CJ Wallis
Q&A with BB Writer/Director CJ Wallis:
Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions for us, CJ. When did you originally come up with the idea for BB?
I never really know, to be honest. I tend to just have a bunch of cool ideas for characters or show-off scenes or shots floating around in my head that, individually on their own, don’t add up to much.
I was pretty into Bjork for a long time and in high school I saw 18 hours worth of underground Hi-8 tapes of a kid named Ricardo Lopez who filmed himself over a year having conversations to the camera about his love for Bjork while progressively, and successfully, building an acid bomb hidden in a book for her. He filmed and timed his own suicide with when she was meant to open the book herself.
I met cam-model Jennifer Mae and the more I thought about her profession, I started to realize how vulnerable and terrifying it could be under the surface. Coupled with my fascination with people’s theories about being able to hack into embedded cell-phone or laptop cameras and add Ricardo Lopez to the gumbo and all those chunks rapidly form and became Megazord-like.
A few days later, the script was done. A month after that, we were filming.

BB Movie Review - Zisi Emporium
"Mae excels as a fantasy girl and a passionate lover. CJ Wallis, who wrote and directed "BB" will no doubt rake in awards at film festivals in 2017!"
BB, Alienation, Desperation, Fear....
Written by Christopher Zisi
...after fear, what is the next word? You'll see. In 2016's "BB," CJ Wallis takes us on a voyage which has the feel of a downward spiral. From the outset, we sense carnage heading our way. Acute characters who are so familiar to us, ushered along by horrific circumstances, and highlighted by heavy, ominous music make our feature today. A whole article could be written about the Mother Marygold music which permeates "BB," suffice to say it will carry you through one horrific ordeal. Besides, it's time for a new purple haired beauty, as Lt. Gay Ellis (UFO) from the early 1970s was our last one.

BB Movie Review - BloodGuts UK Horror
"From the outset, BB is not your average blockbuster. Despite a pulsing soundtrack and a visual flair to rival Hollywood, the films content is wrapped around your face and does not let go!"
When Leah Lamont (Jennifer Mae) discovers the money that can be earnt by being a cam girl she realizes the life she wanted could be the one she has. Jumping into a strange world, she takes to the income and custom really well until on of her viewers (played by Kristian Hanson) realizes that the woman behind the screen might not be the one he wishes.
Holstered between PEEPING TOM and MANIAC, BB is a tense thriller that is as chilling as it is beautiful. Self funded by director CJ Wallis, this is a passion project that shows how great vision and a lust for attention can put up a fight against the mighty mainstream. Whether the focus is on passionate and quite graphic love making or the visible emotional breakdown of a woman in love, BB is a master to its own success.

BB Movie Review: Beneath The Underground
"[Wallis] has accomplished quite a bit with this debut film. You should definitely give it a shot!"
Posted By Jason Kreuger on Aug 18, 2016
C.J. Wallis (Revolver,Runaway) is an indie filmmaker from Canada. His first full length feature (he has directed numerous shorts) will be smacking you in the face any day now. It is a memorable little film that will surely disturb and impress.
This film will not disturb in the way extreme cinema sets out to disturb, with disgusting sex and brutal gore. Instead it is disturbing from a psychological standpoint. It deals with themes of obsession, the intrusive nature of technology, and the psychological effects of war. It is also a film that tells an efficient story with a high level of production value.
